Privacy notice
This notice covers the public Routesms website, direct enquiries and preparation to provide services. It describes what happens now, rather than possible future features.
Who is responsible
The data controller is Routesms Ltd. Privacy and GDPR contact: info@routesms.pro. The available company details are listed under Provider information.
Data we process
- Technical logs: IP address, request time, path without query parameters, method, response code and technical client information. These records support delivery, security and fault investigation.
- Device preferences: selected language and theme, and whether this storage notice was closed. They remain in the browser and are not sent to Routesms.
- Contact form: the current button validates fields only in the browser. Name, email, company and message are not transmitted to or stored by the server.
- Direct contact: if you email us, we receive the contact data and message content you choose to provide.
- Service data: route-testing data is processed only after separate agreement and is governed by the service agreement and DPA.
Purposes and legal bases
Technical logs are processed for the legitimate interest of operating a secure and reliable website (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)). Pre-contract correspondence is processed to respond and take requested steps before entering a contract (Article 6(1)(b)); mandatory records are processed to meet legal obligations (Article 6(1)(c)).
Recipients, transfers and retention
Access is limited to authorised personnel and infrastructure providers as necessary to operate the website. If you use an external email service, that provider also processes the message. Transfers outside the EEA will use an applicable safeguard.
Preferences remain in your browser until you remove them. Logs and correspondence are retained only while needed for security, responding to the enquiry, performing a contract or applicable limitation and record-keeping periods.
Your rights
Where the GDPR applies, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction and portability, object to processing, and withdraw consent where consent was used. Contact info@routesms.pro. You may also complain to a supervisory authority in the Member State of your residence, workplace or the alleged infringement. The website does not use automated decision-making or profiling.
Website terms of use
This website explains the A2P SMS testing service and helps prepare an enquiry. It does not place an order, take payment or by itself form a contract.
- Commercial scope, countries, networks, price, timing and service levels are binding only when stated in a separate written agreement.
- Report samples and metrics are fictional and do not promise a particular future test result.
- You may test only routes, numbers and messages you are lawfully authorised to use. Spam, restriction circumvention, interference with the website and unlawful content are prohibited.
- Do not submit passwords, keys, SMPP credentials or real recipient personal data through the public form. A secure channel must be agreed separately.
- Website materials and interface are owned by Routesms or lawfully licensed. Ordinary viewing and attributed quotation are allowed; copying the service or misrepresenting the materials as your own is prohibited.
- The website is provided as available, without a promise of uninterrupted access. No limitation applies where mandatory law prevents it.
No consumer contract is concluded on this website, so the form button creates no payment obligation and does not start a service. Governing law and forum are set by the separate agreement and the provider’s country of establishment.
Data processing terms — DPA
This section provides the basis for a data processing addendum. A signed version must accompany the service agreement whenever Routesms processes personal data on a client’s behalf.
Roles and subject matter
The client is the controller and Routesms is the processor. Processing is limited to testing agreed A2P routes and preparing reports for the duration of the service agreement.
Data and data subjects
Depending on the scenario, data may include client business contacts, authorised test numbers, message identifiers, delivery times and statuses, sender name and test content. Data subjects are client personnel and owners of authorised test receiving points. Live customer databases must not be submitted without separate written agreement.
Processor obligations
- process data only on documented client instructions and ensure confidentiality;
- apply proportionate technical and organisational security measures;
- engage subprocessors only on agreed terms and notify changes;
- assist with data-subject requests, impact assessments and security duties;
- notify the client of a confirmed breach without undue delay;
- return or delete data after service end unless law requires retention;
- provide information needed to demonstrate compliance and support reasonable audits.
The signed client schedule must identify subprocessors, processing locations, security measures, deletion periods and any international-transfer mechanism. Request a DPA at info@routesms.pro.
Accessibility statement
Routesms aims to make the website usable with a keyboard, screen reader, browser zoom and a range of viewport sizes.
The site provides semantic headings, visible focus, a skip link, labelled form controls, keyboard operation, RTL support, responsive layout and respect for reduced-motion preferences. No media autoplays.
The current version is designed with WCAG 2.2 AA principles and the European Accessibility Act in mind. It has not yet undergone an independent audit, so full conformance is not claimed. Some illustrative charts communicate visually; their principal conclusions are repeated in nearby text.
If a barrier prevents use, email info@routesms.pro with the page, action and assistive technology involved. We will acknowledge the report and offer an accessible alternative.
